As a frequent customer I purchased a combination padlock from them and after some six weeks it would not open. They were not interested, not even a small discount on a new lock. They obviously do not understand customer service or good retail practice. They did not even offer to take the product back and send it back to the manufacturer. (2/5)

While this shop has a large selection of nearly anything you might need for DIY, I cannot stand it. The staff have, time and time again, been terribly rude to me (also my friends and colleagues) and act as if everything is a chore. They do not even wait until you are finished asking a question before they say 'no' and walk away. This is very typical of businesses in St Andrews......there is no alternative because it is a small town, so you are stuck going to places like this. If there was an alternative, I would never step foot in here again. (2/5)
