The basement bar used to be trendy - now it reminds you of a Dundee Scheme pub - shockingingly poor selection of drinks, rude service and scrunter patrons. (1/5)

Have Fife Council actually inspected the smoking area at the Lizard Lounge under Ogstons Hotel!? It's a covered corridor to the rear of the building with only a ceiling opening at one end. At the weekend when busy the majority of punters have to stand in the fully covered area - it's definitely not nice! is it even legal? (1/5)

This bar's full of yahs! Talking too loudly about absolute s***e, it was best I could do to drink up and leave without telling them to shut up. Sometimes I hate st andrews. (1/5)

Ogstens, was Bridges, is a great bar. Good crowd, only criticism is service can be a tad slow but no worries. (4/5)

You enter this hotel through the bar with a nightclub in the basement - the exit to both below our bedroom window. If your idea of a relaxing stay is listening to drunken teenagers and their arguments with bouncers until 2AM - then you'll love this place. (2/5)

Ate here about a week ago and was very disappointed. The food was simply bland while the staff didn't really seem to care. Would not recommend - there are much better places for lunch in St Andrews. (2/5)
